Sold Art?So yesterday I was talking to a few friends and one mentioned that he was getting his girlfriend flowers for her birthday, and how he wished he had something romantic to put on it (Pointedly looking at me). So I decided to oblidge, and in exchange for a few dollars (I ain't rich, and he is) I wrote him a short little corny poem. After this event, another one of my friends jokingly called me an art whore; which, while a flippant comment, got me thinking.Sold Art?
Can art be sold? Is it on the same level as a commodity like jewelry or computers? Most people would say no, art is....well, I suppose you could say art is almost on a sacred leve
